We hosted our wedding celebration at Kodō and it was absolutely perfect. The space, the food, the team all exceeded our expectations. Geraldine, Yuji, Brad and the staff made the entire process smooth and stress-free, and the night itself felt magical. We’re so grateful and can’t wait to come back for our anniversary!
The room was exactly how I imagined. The location is fine for people who want a quiet vacation and have been to LA before. If you want a more touristy vacation, this spot is a bit far from the fun but not impossible to drive to. There is no physical hotel concierge so you need to be comfortable with using your phone to get checked in.
The best hotel in LA. I frequently book short stays around the city to work with some new scenery and Kodo has quickly become the only place I go to. Convenient location with wonderful rooms that feel like an escape from the city. Staff and support are always pleasant and helpful, couldn’t recommend this place more.

The whole hotel was so meticulously clean; honestly, it truly felt like a spotless home away from home. I loved every single part of my stay, from the peaceful lobby to the beautifully designed room. The attention to detail, the soothing aesthetic, and the sheer cleanliness of the place make it feel like a genuine sanctuary. If you appreciate simple, beautiful design and a quiet escape, I highly recommend booking The Kodo. I can't wait to go back!

One of the coolest rooms I’ve ever had and I stay in a lot of hotels for work/travel. The design is minimal and Japanese which I adore. If you don’t mind that you must check yourself in online and receive a QR code as a key (no front desk), it’s highly recommended.
We had such a lovely stay here! Other than the amazing vibes, absolute highlight was the bed itself. It was so comfortable and we’ve been trying so hard to figure out the exact mattress. We emailed the hotel and haven’t heard back so please let us know the brand if anyone who works there sees this!
So glad I found this hotel. It’s affordable, very clean and organized and also felt like customer service truly cared about my experience and was very responsive. It’s great that it’s close to Maru Coffee and a shopping area near by. Shower was hot just like I like it, bed comfortable and cozy, room design very wow lol. I have no complaints. Thanks for making my visit to LA comfortable
